We’ll give you 10 meaningful reasons, why not to use fire crackers this Diwali

Diwali has already arrived and you’ll be all geared up to celebrate it to the fullest with your family. But we have an urge to make, please do not use fire crackers this Diwali. Before judging our request, please try and understand why we are requesting the same. In order to  convince you, we’ve brought up 10 meaningful reasons, why not to use fire crackers this Diwali!! Hope this makes a difference 🙂

1. This is not how the return of Ram to Ayodhya was was celebrated, back then.

If you do a bit of research on the internet, you’ll know the authentic way of celebrating Diwali never included fire crackers. In fact during the return of Ram (the first ever Diwali), the houses in the town were lit up with diyas and were decorated with flowers and rangolis, sweets and gifts were distributed and shared. No where would you find the mention of fire crackers, thus the first point of why not use crackers during Diwali is quite valid I guess!

2. Basically you are just burning down your own money.

And the worst part, you enjoying watching it burn and feel good about it.

3. The land gets polluted.

The aftermaths of burning fire crackers are disastrous, not only does it pollute the land, but it also makes the land look dirty and unhygienic. It indeed becomes a tough task for the cleaners!!

4. Noise pollution hinders a lot many lives.

The noise made out of crackers are ver very annoying, and definitely you would agree to it. Literally people start feeling sick and uneasy. Why to have fun at the cost of disturbing people around?

5. Fire crackers can lead to major accidents.

Leave the disturbance aside, burning fire crackers can lead to major accidents causing fatal injuries. There have been instances, where people had to literally lose their lives due to dangerous fire crackers.

6. For the sake of speechless animals.

Before burning crackers at least think about those poor innocent animals, who can’t even speak up and express their issues. While you burn crackers outside, these animals struggle finding some safe place to hide.

Why not to use fire crackers during Diwali?

7. If not animals, at least think about the babies and oldies in the locality.

Okay in case, you are not concerned about animals, at least think about those new born babies or those aged men and women in your locality. What if they were from your family?

8. Air pollution, which can cause a lot of health problems.

As fire crackers contribute in causing a lot of air pollution, it directly or indirectly results in to health issues not only of  yours but also of the people around. This air pollution can actually lead to fatal disease like cancer.

9. Boycott fire crackers and stand against child labour.

Apart from the fact that these small children at the age of going to school are made to work in the fire cracker factories, they are also exposed to harmful and dangerous chemicals. Reportedly these chemicals can cause various skin disease to these kids also many other health issues such as cancer or losing of eye sight. .

Why not to use fire crackers during Diwali?

10. You can actually use the money spent on fire cracker for something more thoughtful.

Why to spend money on those totally useless and annoying fire crackers, rather use that money in something more meaningful. May be you can gift out stuffs to the poor family you know about or poor kids in your locality. You can contribute in the orphanages as well.

Rather than lighting up skies, why not light up others lives this Diwali!!
